Elder Care Guides is seeking a full-time Client Services Manager to join our growing team of professionals. This is a business development manager position with responsibility for varied external and internal sales and marketing activities. The incumbent will work with current and prospective professional referral sources, as well as clients and their families. Candidates must have sales experience within the local healthcare industry, and direct experience working with the elderly or disabled population. The appropriate candidate will promote quality and appropriateness of services that align with Elder Care Guides' mission to better the lives of elders by providing services that center on the strengths and goals of the individual, and foster within them a lifelong sense of purpose. 
  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales:

  • Identifies potential customers and demonstrates skill and knowledge in describing Elder Care Guides' services.
  • Completes, tracks and follows up on prospective client inquiries in both an office and mobile environment.
  • Provides informational visits to clients and family members, educating on care management procedures and processes.
  • Converts inquiries into new customers, achieving measurable sales targets.
Marketing:
  • Participates in outside marketing activities, including one-on-one relationship development and education with potential referral sources. Demonstrates skill and knowledge in describing Elder Care Guides' services.
  • Community education activities, including public presentations on relevant elder care related topics.
  • Participation in community events and networking activities.
  • Program development activities including research, operational and business development, and participation in company planning meetings.
Clinical Services: 
  • Meets with clients and families to assess current care situation, set goals, and gather appropriate information related to the client from a variety of sources such as family members, insurance companies, financial planners, attorneys, or other significant sources.
  • Provides placement consultations for clients and family members, providing referrals to the most appropriate and cost-effective location(s) for continued care as necessary.
  • Participates in weekly operational meetings at the Elder Care Guides office.
Other: Any other duties as assigned.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum qualification of a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, or a business degree with sales experience in health care, long-term care, and/or social services settings.
  • Experience using sales and marketing techniques to generate new business.
  • Experience with internet marketing and social media platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with public speaking.
  • Two years of direct work experience with the elderly or disabled populations, and a working knowledge of the provision of healthcare in a variety of settings.
  • Proficiency in the use of PC and/or laptop computers, cell phone, and MS Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work independently, organize travel efficiently, and report mileage and billable hours accurately.
  • Active California driver's license and clean driving record.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
  • Masters degree in social work, gerontology, or a related health or human services field.
  • Geriatric care management experience.
  • Knowledge of community resources and local healthcare delivery systems.
